Practical office skills, taught in small groups on Parrish Avenue.

Keystone Arch Learning Co. is an independent adult-learning studio run by Jodie Briganti. We teach bookkeeping, spreadsheets, payroll and everyday digital skills to Hill Country adults who need a real, usable result — a better job, a tidier set of books, or the nerve to run their own shop.

Why people come here

A classroom, not a video library.

Most of our students tried an online course first and stalled somewhere around week two. What they were missing wasn't content — it was somebody to look over their shoulder and say “that column is text, not a number, that's why it won't add up.”

Every session at Keystone Arch is taught live by a working practitioner, capped at twelve seats, and built around your own files whenever you're allowed to bring them. If you own a shop on Water Street, you'll leave the QuickBooks course with your shop's books set up, not a demo company.

  • Twelve seats maximum — questions get answered the same evening
  • Every class recorded for enrolled students for 90 days
  • Bring your own laptop, or borrow one of our nine studio machines
  • Sliding-scale tuition for career returners and veterans' spouses
  • No subscriptions, no upsells, no “masterclass” nonsense

How enrolment works

Four steps, about ten minutes of paperwork.

1

Talk it through

Call 830-889-3387 or send the enquiry form. Jodie or Rosalie will ask what you're trying to end up with.

2

Sit a short placement

A 15-minute, no-pressure check so we put you in the right room. Free, and never used for anything else.

3

Reserve your seat

A $75 deposit holds the seat; the balance is due on the first evening or split across the term.

4

Start & stay supported

Weekly class, a private group chat, and open clinic hours on the first Saturday of every month.

In their words

What students told us at the end of the last term.

“I run a two-truck landscaping outfit. I came in with a shoebox and left with books my accountant described as ‘genuinely tidy’. That's the first compliment he's paid me in nine years.”

— Dale W., Ingram, TX · QuickBooks Online, Fall term

“After eleven years at home I was terrified of a spreadsheet. Six weeks later I passed the Excel test for a front-office job at a clinic on Sidney Baker. The class size is what did it.”

— Marisol P., Kerrville, TX · Digital Essentials

“I've taken corporate training that cost ten times as much and taught a tenth as much. Jodie teaches like somebody who has actually closed a month under pressure.”

— Anne-Marie L., Fredericksburg, TX · Operations Certificate

Who we teach

Hill Country adults with a specific problem to solve.

Roughly a third of our students own or help run a small business. Another third are returning to work after raising children or caring for a parent. The rest are already employed and want the promotion that keeps going to the person who knows the software.

Owners

Shops, trades & ranch businesses

Get the books, payroll and sales-tax calendar under control before they get out of hand.

Returners

Back to work after a break

Rebuild computer confidence in a room where nobody is going to sigh at your question.

Employees

Already working, want to move up

Evening classes that fit around a shift, with a certificate for the personnel file.

Teams

Employer-sponsored groups

Book a private cohort for four or more staff, on site or at the studio, invoiced net 30.

Questions we get first

Quick answers

Do I need any experience?
No. Six of our eight programs assume you can turn a laptop on and nothing further. The placement chat exists so nobody ends up in the wrong room.
Are the classes in person or online?
Both. Most courses run as a hybrid: come to Parrish Avenue or join the same live session over video. Recordings are posted within 24 hours for enrolled students.
Is this accredited?
Keystone Arch is a private continuing-education provider, not a degree-granting college. We issue our own certificate of completion, which is recognised by local employers but is not a state or federal credential. We say so plainly rather than implying otherwise.
What if I have to miss a week?
Watch the recording, then bring your questions to the monthly clinic. Miss more than three of six sessions and we'll roll you into the next cohort at no charge.
